Background
Cindy, an American living in Switzerland over 15 years had started with photography already as a child.
I purchased my first Nikon FG 20 at 14 years old, thus my life long passion was developed.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with Master in Photography and Graphic design.
After working a few years in the catering field and photographing weddings, business events in the area of Pennsylvania and Delaware, I packed up and headed to Europe to see what adventures awaited me.

Pascal, native to Switzerland has always appreciated the fusion of nature and photography.
Complimentary to Photography, I am a fly fishing guide and skiing and snowboarding instructor during the winter month.

Together.
Pascal & Cindy created " Alpin Photo" in the early 90`s.
Our focus was photographing and selling images of Adrenaline sports such as canyoning, river rafting, bungy jumping, paragliding, alpine sports skiing & snow shoeing to international clients. Operating a professional Fuji fotolab and working with over thirty employees over the course of a decade, taught us how to work at high volume under extreme time pressure 24/24, 7/7 during the summer months of the year.
Additionally we photograph team building and corporate functions for companies such as: Merrill lynch, Swisscom and Novartis .
As we are both proficient skiers and physically fit, we like to find photography work that keeps us in our favored elements.

Our style
Our passion is shooting people reportage style, with a story book of the days happenings in mind.
We implement the highest technical standards and apply a modern and elegant style to our photographs..
It is important to dare standing in the center of attention, without pledgeing the focus of the event in progress.
"Classical portraits" are a must, however the favorite photos show real emotions and spontaneous moments as they happen.
We do not shoot professional models, instead all our portfolio is a collection of people who are not used to " pose" for the camera, resulting in natural expressions with a beautiful setting.

Technically
After more than a decade of working with " negative film", we still rely on “old school knowledge” and feel no need to check every foto we take on our screen. We know our equipment and are technically proficient under any “real life” circumstances....We work only with the newest professional camera equipment, ensuring highest quality and image resolution.
Pascal works on the production of your images in house- post processing, editing, layout and design of fotobooks and albums, internet presentations. Cindy creates your wedding album with personal style and puts all of her heart into a careful design.
