Who we are
Pascal & Cindy Zeller, a Swiss/American husband and wife team, professional photographers since 1990.We are located in the heart of the picturesque Jungfrau region in Wilderswil next to Interlaken and have spent the past decade in the adventure sports industry photographing guests participating in various outdoor activities, such as canyoning, riverrafting, paragliding, bungy jumping and many more. Our large stock of pictures includes also a large variety of winter sports- like skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, iceclimbing - local culture and landscape photography in the swiss alps.
Wedding photography and foto services for cultural or corporate events were always a much welcome opportunity to expand our technical knowledge and personal/people/presentational skills.
Growing older - we are both in our mid-thirties now- we decided to leave the exciting, fast paced and physically very demanding world of adventure sports, now focusing our efforts mainly on people and event photography.
We own and operate our in house analog color Fuji processing & printing lab. The darkroom with full black and white processing facility is operated and maintained mainly by Cindy. We also have the full range of professional digital equipment, keeping pace with latest technologies. Image digitalisation, pre-publishing work is done by Pascal on his powerful PC, also creating & publishing websites, internet presentation of customer images. Presentation of slides or digital images via beamer/large screen for business events or entertainment shows.
Cindy has photographed weddings since the 80`s in the USA. Besides photography Pascal is a fly fishing guide in summer and in winter a ski- and snowboard instructor, he communicates fluently in english, german and french. Together we host our brand new holiday house, which we planned and built by ourselves. Working together as a team is our strength. You are obviously not commited to hire two photographers for your wedding day (although we do recommend it for wedding receptions on a large scale), but the work after the event behind the scenes is usually shared by the two of us in a creative exchange. We take a sensitive personal approach to capture your wedding day events. We are not a huge corporation with anonymous employees, offering everything anywhere, endless unclear packages with wishy-washy prices and multiple hidden extra costs. We approach each wedding couple with a fresh attitude. We believe it is important to get to know the couple a bit on a personal level to learn your ideas and wishes, clarify the many details involved, create and finally deliver a finished product that we can be proud of and that is up to your full expectations.
Variations of foto-packages we offer
The job description usually includes following photographical services:
Portraits and style fotos of the wedding couple on chosen locations / church or civil ceremony / group photos with friends and families / reportage style photography during the whole event from a-z, including candid fotos of the guests, entertainment and dancing, buffets and wedding cake, locations. We are to your disposition all day and do not charge you for extra hours, we will stay as long as you wish....
The one big choice you will have to make, before we can present you a informal price quote is:
Analog (traditional 35mm negative or slide film) or digital photography - both techniques present advantages/ resp.disadvantages - depending on what you would like to have as a final product. Obviously nowadays film can be scanned- digitalized- or prints can be made from digital data - but this may result in time consuming extra work, loss in quality and longer time for delivery. Making the right choice at the first place will certainly save you unnecessary costs.
Analog photography:
Better suited if you wish to have traditional fotos (prints), including proof- or finished wedding album and if you plan to send out fotocards, or give your families/friends the chance to get reorders of their favourites for personal use.A standard package may include:
- Presentation/proof album - with all fotos of the event, format 9x13cm/3x5inch, numbered for easy reorders, arranged and individually adhered carefully by hand in chronological order.
- Finished showpiece wedding album of your choice (bound leather, metal, glass, page inserts, special imprint, etc.) with a choice of the best images, carefully designed and hand decorated by Cindy.
- Fotocards for thanking your guests, individually designed.
- Scanning of negatives/slides for digital use (see digital photography)
We use only highest quality Fuji Supreme Fotopaper for brilliant colors and long lasting memories. 35mm Fujicolor professional color negative or Fujichrome film for slides. All fotos are carefully developped and hand printed in our private foto-lab.
Delivery of all analog photo packages within 30 days.
Digital photography:
This option is the right choice if you wish to have your images on CD, for easy viewing on your PC - or with a compatible dvd player- on your TV screen. Internet presentation (with password protection if you wish) is also a very comfortable and popular way to share your big day with your friends/families worlwide within only a few hours after the party ends.Another advantage of the digital option is that with the CD you have all image data right at your hands - not needing to contact us for further reorders, etc.
- Foto CD (2 copies) with all fotos of the event, index pages, clickable thumbnails. Image data in format .jpg highest quality (original size, approx.2MB per image, lowest compression rate)
- Foto CD (2 copies) with all fotos of the event, index pages, clickable thumbnails. Image data in format .tiff or .raw (only for knowledgeable PC users) highest possible quality (original size, approx.7MB per image, lowest compression rate)
- NEW: Foto CD (2 copies) with virtual fotoalbum- neat option for presentation of your images on screen.
- internet presentation- complete website - many different options: indexed pages of all fotos with clickable thumbnails for bigger image, individualized index page, links to websites of your choice, download instructions, downloadable viewer software, virtual photo album,guests lists, any kind of personal additions like poems, flash intro with music,.....
- Prints of chosen digital images (see analog photography)
Delivery of Foto Cds within 14 days. Internet presentation within 2 days.
Pricing policy
Prices are individually calculated depending the options you chose. After first contact, we will give you an informal price quote according to your basic choices. We will give you one price only (unless you ask for a multiple choice quoting) with no hidden unexpected costs. You will have the possibility to get back to us and ask for a new quoting if you wish some changes. Upon your positive reply, the written price quote will serve as a formal contact between you and us photographers. We will then require a downpayment of about 50% of the expected final costs (via secure bank transfer/wire only) to finalize your bookings with us. The remaining sum will be due upon delivery of the finished product- in cash if possible- or via bank transfer/wire- or creditcard (visa+master only).- No personal foreign cheques will be accepted for payment.
All variations include the costs of consultation and personally meeting with you, location scouting, transportation and travel expenses, sales tax - unless clearly quoted otherwise.

Wedding activity suggestions
As we are located in the heart of the Swiss alps and surrounded by 2 lakes, there are endless possibilities to experience on your wedding day.
1. Fly via helicopter with your party to a glacier landing for a panoramic wonder and champagne toast.
2 .Hot air balloon . A silent way to be mesmerized as you float over snow capped alps at 3000 meters.
3. Tandem paraglide or hang glide gliding over the alps with professional pilots. A true feeling of freedom
4. Tandem Skydive from an airplane or helicopter . That’s an adrenaline rush to share with your partner.
5. Enjoy a brunch at the famous James Bond Schilthorn revolving restaurant at 2000 meters.
6. During the spring, summer an fall season enjoy a ship excursion on the Thunersee stopping in Spiez (castles and vineyard) or Brienzersee - waterfalls of Giessbach and a formal dinner or historical village of Ballenberg.
